Malin Östlund

My paintings are like an intuitive link to a more beautiful and poetic side of life. The motifs are dreamy and filled with kind souls and often have a connection to the beauty of nature – they show an inspiring place to be where the viewer can dream and find peace. The symbolism is often about personal development, inner strength and playfulness. I work in my studio in central Skellefteå and create mainly with oil paint on canvas and process in many layers.
